Native Arts New England Application Deadlines

• February 16, 2010 (for projects occurring between April 1, 2010 - March 31, 2011)
• September 15, 2010 (for projects occurring between November 1, 2010 - October 31, 2011)
• February 15, 2011 (for projects occurring between April 1, 2011 - March 31, 2012)

Two Ways to Apply

NEFA welcomes any questions and will help with your application process. Technical assistance is provided to all applicants. It is recommended that all applicants contact the program staff prior to submission to ensure that all requirements are met.

1. Apply online! (COMING SOON) Fill out and submit your application electronically using NEFA's new online grant system.
   
    
2. Apply by mail*: Fill out an interactive PDF online, print the form, and mail to NEFA. Application packets must contain the following:
   1. One completed and signed copy of the Native Arts New England Application form
   2. Project narrative (up to 2 pages) describing the following:
      1. Your artistry and your accomplishments to date (individual) or your organization and its accomplishments to date (organization)
      2. Your proposed project in relation to the review criteria (the need, the plan, and the lasting benefit); who, what, where, why, when, and how
      3. How the grant funds will be spent
      4. Budget: estimate of how the grant will be spent; expenses should relate to the project narrative
   3. Artist resume (individual) or organization history and program overview (organization)
   4. Artist statement (up to 1 page) (individual)
   5. Images of art work (work samples) related to project (photos, jpegs, CDs, and DVDs accepted)
   6. Two (2) letters of support for the project you are applying for
   7. Documentation of tribal affiliation or membership
   8. Other supportive materials (if available) will be accepted, including press, awards, etc.
