The Idea Swap is an annual event for New England-based nonprofit presenting organizations to network and share project ideas that may qualify for funding from NEFA’s Expeditions grant program.

NEFA's 8th Annual Idea Swap took place on November 4, 2009 at the Atkinson Resort & Country Club in Atkinson, NH from 9:30 to 3:30.

Have an Idea?  Ways to connect with colleagues

PRESENT your project at the Idea Swap:

  • Post your project idea online as a classified on www.matchbook.org: click “search classifieds,” then click “post a classified.”  Be sure to select the "Expeditions Projects" category.

Each project presentation will be allotted approximately 10 minutes and must include artist work samples, such as a DVD or CD.  Creative presentations, which may include the featured artist, are encouraged!

BROWSE & POST other ideas before the Idea Swap:

  • Visit www.matchbook.org and click "search classifieds"
  • Select the category "Expeditions Projects" to browse what others have posted, OR
  • Select "post a classified" to add your idea to the Expeditions Projects category

Other opportunities for sharing your project idea include networking time and the informal "open mic" presentations.  About five minutes long, the open mic presentations are selected from a list of those who have signed up throughout the day.  Display tables are available for sharing promotional materials.
