The Springfield School System, in conjunction with Double Edge, will present Double Edge's Grand Parade of the Twentieth Century, which depicts major events of the twentieth century in a theatrical style inspired by Marc Chagall's kaleidoscopic vision of humanity at play, at war, and at rest. Trapeze, circus, dance, projections and popular culture fill the height and breadth of the stage. In this residency, the performances will include matinees limited to the public schools and evening performances for the community, with ancillary activities developing student awareness of how knowledge of the twentieth century can relate to their own lives and choices.
