Sara Juli has been creating and performing innovative comedic dance-theater for over two decades. Her piece "Naughty Bits" is a dance-play set inside memories that explore her own personal struggles through the medium of performance. Her performance fuses movement, text, song, audience interaction, and comedy to examine the impacts of trauma on the brain stemming from sexual assault. This program focuses on finding the humor in the tragic and breaks down victimhood to ultimately reclaim the mind. 3S Artspace will partner with The Hill Arts to present "Naughty Bits" with two public performances taking place in each venue along with post-production panel discussions with local leaders in the therapy sector as well as those who offer resources that can help others heal from sexual assault based trauma.
