The imagination team at *50 Arrow Gallery* consists of Jason Montgomery, Chelvanaya Gabriel, and Jo Cater, a diverse trio of artist-activists with a shared vision for social equity and cultural transformation. Jason Montgomery is a Chicano and Indigenous artist whose work spans visual art, poetry, and activism, focusing on decolonization and racial justice. Chelvanaya Gabriel is an interdisciplinary artist and healer who centers Blackness, spirituality, and community care in her work, while Jo Cater brings her expertise in creative placemaking, using art as a vehicle to foster inclusion and community growth. Rooted in Easthampton, Massachusetts, 50 Arrow Gallery is situated within a small but vibrant community where the team aims to challenge and reimagine the power structures that often exclude marginalized voices. Their collective imagination is grounded in the belief that art has the power to reshape how space is experienced and who it serves, particularly for BIPOC communities.
