Abbe Museum

The Abbe Museum's mission is to "inspire new learning about Wabanaki Nations with every visit." But amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we chose to remain closed, prioritizing the safety of our community, staff/volunteers, and visitors. No longer able to advance our mission with the visiting public, we have worked hard over the past year to create digital spaces for continued engagement. And having only recently reopened are still navigating and creating our post-pandemic reality. This funding will allow us to tackle necessary expenses, supporting the staff as they take on new responsibilities and continue to advance our mission in an ever-changing landscape.
