The 20th Alabama Dance Festival on January 20-29, 2017 will feature a seven-day residency by CONTRA-TIEMPO to explore the themes of race, exile, injustice, water, drought and upheaval through CONTRA-TIEMPO's newest evening length work, “Agua Furiosa.” The residency will include public “community choreographic laboratories” where local stories will be collected and incorporated into the performance.
