The Alabama Dance Council will co-present staibdance with UAB's Alys Stephens Center as guest company-in-residence at the 25th Alabama Dance Festival on January 14-23, 2022 in Birmingham, AL. The eight-day residency will include school and community workshops and lectures/panel presentations on January 17-19, a school performance on January 20, four performances of fence on January 20-23, and five master classes for pre-professional and professional dancers on January 22-23. The fence performances will incorporate three-four community dancers selected by George Staib in November 2021 during a residency planning visit.
