The American Dance Festival (ADF) will present The Lost Art of Dreaming by Sean Dorsey Dance on July 13, 2023 at Reynolds Industries Theater at Duke University. "The Lost Art of Dreaming" is an ADF-commissioned work. Sean Dorsey will arrive in Durham the Monday prior to his company’s performance in order to lead classes and outreach activities in the community in advance of the show. An additional workshop will take place the day after on Friday, July 14. These workshops will be held at the LGBTQ Center of Durham, ADF Scripps Studios, and on Duke University’s campus. The company will also teach one master class to the ADF community, as well as participate in a 20-minute post-performance discussion immediately following the performance.
