The Combat Hippies will participate in a week long residency and four performances of AMAL at Cara Mia Theatre's 2024 Latinidades Festival of Latinx Theatre from October 13-20, 2024. Company members include three performers (Anthony Torres, Hipólito Arriaga III, and Angel Ruben Rodriguez, Sr.), Artistic Director Teo Castellanos, and Technical Director/Tour Manager Gary Lund. Performances will include a local guest bomba dancer and bomba drummer to close each show. Company members will arrive on October 12, 2024. Artist load in/rehearse in the performance space daily from October 13-16. Company members will facilitate a workshop on creating devised theater works for local community. AMAL performances will take place from October 14-17.
