In April 2018, ANIKAYA Dance Theater will premiere the dance-theater work Conference of the Birds. Immediately following the premiere, work will begin on planning a New England tour, as well as touring around the country and the world. Harvard University’s Office for the Arts and Committee on the Study of Religion are interested in presenting the work in 2019, along with residency activities for the campus community and the larger community. Northeastern University’s Center for Spirituality, Dialogue and Service to partner with Harvard and will lead outreach to other New England communities with appropriate organizations and presenters to organize a New England tour in 2019-2020.
