Our Elders, Their Legacy Feed Our Roots, is a project aimed at engaging elders living in the Doris Bunte apartments in Roxbury, MA in storytelling and utilizing their stories to create an art piece for public display. "Lest it be lost in the fires of life, we pass on our wisdom through our stories - and how to tell them matters. " Biographybook.com. We seek to creatively engage residents in documenting through storytelling, videography and photography the stories of their lives as crucial residents of Roxbury. Their stories and collaboration will be used to develop a piece of art that will be installed on the grounds of the Doris Bunte apartments.
