ArtsEmerson will provide its artists, local colleagues, and our ever-expanding audience with technical equipment and staff expertise to better capture live performances and workshops. We see the online space as a new venue that will last beyond this pandemic, creating greater access for those unable to attend in-person events. This funding will allow ArtsEmerson to purchase the technical equipment necessary for higher quality live performance captures. By obtaining this equipment, and offering it to our artists and community partners, we will transition into a new online venue alternative, and help our local colleagues who lack their own facilities do the same.
