Elizabeth Mochizuki, Artistic Director of the Asian American Ballet Project (AABP), seeks support for video documentation during AABP’s 2024 season. Founded in 2022, AABP is the very first Asian American ballet company, ever. Our mission is to present Asian American dancers on stage together in all Asian American productions. We aim to tell stories from our unique perspectives and transform how audiences see Asian Americans in performance, from unexpected to accepted.

The videographer will prepare a professional video for AABP’s spring crowd-funding campaign and capture footage of AABP’s 2024 concert slated for June. The videographer would be responsible for supplying livestream footage as well as editing material into work samples for funders. Having high quality video footage of the company will allow AABP to meet our fundraising goals for our upcoming fiscal year. Video documentation will also help us to apply for future funding in order to expand our programming.
