The Autorino Center for the Arts and Humanities at the University of Saint Joseph

As part of the University of Saint Joseph season, "USJ Got Soul," The Art of the Duo is a perfect component that will situate its spiritually oriented sounds in the Conor Chapel on the University. This concert experience will combine southeast Asian traditions with classical music and Jazz. The Syrian clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh performs together with Sri Lankan-Canadian pianist and composer Dinuk Wijerante. We expect that USJ will be able to expand outreach to refugee communities to attend this concert as well as to the refugee friendly spiritual congregations. This event will be co-hosted by the Office of Ministry and the Autorino Center for the Arts.
