BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance

As part of the Let 'Im Move You series BAAD! presents 2 performances on October 4 & 5, 2019. The week prior (Sept. 23-27, 2019) Jumatatu and Donte offer a course in J-Sette at our partner site, Lehman College, to engage 20 Lehman College dance students of which those who identify as Black and Queer are invited to participate in 4 outdoor interventions and performance. The interventions are presented in collaboration with Abrons Arts Center in the Bronx and Manhattan on September 28, 29 October 5, 9, 2019. On October 9, the cast and BAAD! throw a Queer Slow Jam Party in partnership with Bronx DJ collective Uptown Vinyl Supreme at BAAD!.
