Lakou Mizik is an all-star Haitian group representing various Haitian traditions from Vodou to troubadour to Rara street parade music. Their high-energy concerts enliven and connect. The weekend of September 25th and 26th, and the weekdays following, BarnArts will host two concerts in Barnard and Woodstock, and a school residency reaching students in multiple area public schools. We are partnering with Pentangle to arrange a series of stops in area schools to reach ages 4-18 in Barnard, Woodstock and Reading, and likely more schools.
