BAC will present Carmen de Lavallade's As I Remember It, an autobiographical portrait of her life told through dance, film, and her own writings. It was created by de Lavallade with director Joe Grifasi & co-writer/dramaturg Talvin Wilks (June 2014 BAC Residency). Just as memories of our own lives are colored by age and perspective, this hour-long dance/theater work is shaped by de Lavallade's cognitive and muscular memories of her personal history. It will include audience engagement (Q/As).
