Bates College, Olin Arts Center

Bates is proud to be one of the New England presenters to make possible the first tour of the region by the Metropolis Ensemble, which is led by Andrew Cyr - a 1996 graduate of the College. The focus of the ensemble's visit is to explore and demonstrate successful alternative approaches to the presentation of "serious" art - and more specifically in this case the focus will be on contemporary classical music with a presentation of the "Brownstone" project and affiliated residency activities.
