Bates Dance Festival will present David Dorfman Dance’s new work (A)Way Out of My Body on July 17 & 19, 2020. In addition, David Dorfman and company member, Kellie Ann Lynch, will teach rep from this work for 2 weeks during the Young Dancers Workshop for students ages 14-18. David and multi-media designer, Andrew Schneider, will each stay in Lewiston, Maine for a full week following the performances and will each teach an intensive to the Professional Training Program students. David will teach Performing Citizenship and Andrew will teach Intro to Interactivity, both of which are informed by and inform the performance.
