Bates Dance Festival

In the american / woman project, Betsy Miller collaborates with female-identifying dance artists from every state in the US. The project explores, through a dancer’s lens, possibilities for what it means to be a woman in America today and platforms the artistry of women dancers across the country. Bates Dance Festival will support a residency for Betsy and her collaborators during the 2023 festival and host an artist talk and a work-in-progress showing, both open to the public.
