This grant will support the artistic collaboration between choreographer/director Betsy Miller and dancers Marin Day and Lindsey Jennings in the creation of an original duet and documentation of the creation process by filmmaker Ellen Maynard, as part of Miller's american / woman project, an initiative which seeks to platform women dance artists throughout the USA and to disrupt traditional power dynamics in the dancer/choreographer relationship.
