On the Boards

On the Boards (OtB) will present the West Coast premiere of choreographer Bebe Miller’s newest work, “Dances from The Making Room” March 15-18, 2018. Focused on the real-life and virtual interactions involved in the creative and artistic process, Miller is developing and documenting this project over a year. The culmination of her investigation will include a suite of works and accompanying events on the dance-making process, as well as online resources about the entire project to serve as process documentation. OtB will provide a number of contextual events, described below. We will also host an artist convening to lead to the creation of this work in August, outside of this funding.
