On the Boards

On the Boards (OtB) is excited to present Morgan Thorson’s “Still Life” (SL) in collaboration with BASE. Touring between visual art and theater spaces and in conversation with the painting and diorama disciplines of the same name, performers bridge static object and living form. Crafted for each venue and augmented by local performers, each iteration empowers the audience to enter, exit, and resituate, while time is an interactive tool to render movement as actions, events, or intervals.
