Bourne Historical Society

The Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers will perform at Wampanoag Day, an annual event held on the grounds of the Museums at Aptucxet. This will be the featured performance during a day-long festival showcasing the history and culture of the Wampanoag People with tribal members demonstrating traditional tribal crafts, music, movement and food. There will be an emphasis on hands-on participation with traditional skills and activities. Wampanoag Day serves as a way to bring traditional native culture to a modern audience for an interactive experience.
