Canto Cutie

Canto Cutie weaves together Vermont's rural and immigrant communities through arts and culture with four dynamic programs. First, it is an art and literature publication that celebrates the voices of the Cantonese diaspora. The media platform connects the worldwide bilingual community and educates New Englanders on social and cultural causes that impact the Cantonese diaspora through workshops, talks, and markets. Secondly, Canto Cutie's Cantonese Club provides a vital space for language revival and community support, where Cantonese speakers share resources and practice their heritage language. Thirdly, Canto Cutie’s Queer Art Club offers a welcoming creative space where LGBTQ+ families and allies share community dinners in rural Vermont and exclusively support BIPOC-owned restaurants. Finally, Multicultural Community Storytime brings families together for intergenerational storytelling and crafts, while celebrating diverse narratives and cultural traditions.
