Funding from the New England Foundation for the Arts will allow the Capitol Center for the Arts to expand programming and partnerships with local organizations with a focus on elevating the voices of BIPOC and AAPI artists, without placing additional financial pressure on our post-pandemic recovery. While we were fortunate to receive Federal relief funding and raise additional funds from our generous donors during the COVID-19 shutdown, we are not out of the woods yet, especially as new virus variants have the potential to affect our work. Ticket-buying patterns post-pandemic are unpredictable, and we need to be able to grow our organization back to more robust staffing and programming
