Carpetbag Theatre will conduct a week-long residency at the Carver Community Cultural Center in San Antonio, Texas. During their stay, the artists will engage in various outreach activities with members of the veteran community and the larger San Antonio community. Activities may include story circles, digital storytelling, poetry open-mics, open rehearsal, and workshops for artists in the community. The week will conclude with two performances of Speed Killed My Cousin, a theatrical work about a female veteran and her struggle with PTSD.
