The Center for Arts at the Armory

The Center for Arts at the Armory is hosting the Boston-based band Noah Y Maurizio’s Acoustic Nomads for a performance in our Performance Hall (capacity 395) on Thursday, October 13, 2022, and a workshop to take place in our Cafe on the same day. The band is composed of talented young artists from the Boston Music scene, including band leaders Noah Harrington (bass), and Maurizio Fiore Salas (cuatro & guitar). The quintet is completed by mandolinist Ethan Setiawan (National Mandolin Champion 2014), cellist Parker Ousley, and violinist Sofia Chiarandini (Freshgrass 2021 Fiddle Competition 1st Place). Their original music draws inspiration from North and South American musical traditions, tempered with a fresh and playful contemporary approach.
