The Charles River Conservancy (CRC) is supporting community-driven public art making and programming at the Lynch Family Skatepark (LFS). With robust input from park, the CRC is moving forward with a graffiti Artist-in-residence program and the development of free walls at LFS. The goals of this project are to support creation of artwork that is informed by and implemented for users of LFS, support emerging graffiti and street artists, establish access for all artists at the park, and enable advocacy and stewardship among park users, the CRC and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
