Charlestown Working Theater

Strange Attractor is presenting a new original devised play using Shakespeare's "As You Like It" as primary source material, in collaboration with Philadelphia's Lightning Rod Special. "Sans Everything" follows a spaceship of botanists compelled to perform "As You Like It" for reasons they cannot fathom. Set so far in the future that Shakespeare has been forgotten, "Sans Everything" imagines a world without stories and the dangerous results of bringing them back. They developed the work throughout 2015 with support from an Exchange Grant from the Network of Ensemble Theaters. This performance marks the premiere, following a weekend in Providence at the AS220 Black Box.
