Wen-ti Tsen's HOME TOWN project will utilize archival images from the Chinese Historical Society of New England's (CHSNE) archive and collection to create interactive street art. This project will highlight the historical importance and continuity of Chinatown as a gateway city for generations of Chinese immigrants. The visual displays will connect people to the rich and layered history of Chinatown as a place of people with value beyond it’s commercial/tourist profile.
CHSNE has been nominated by Wen-ti Tsen for this Community Partner award for their ongoing support of the HOME TOWN project
