Chocolate Church Arts Center

The Chocolate Church Arts Center will present a workshop and performance by Boston-based musician Tev Stevig, as part of a New England tour (in collaboration with Weathervane Arts in Montague, MA). The presentation will focus on Stevig's explorations of Turkish makam and related modal musics from the Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Activities will take place at the Chocolate Church Arts Center, and will focus on engaging Mid-coast Maine's community of avid music and culture lovers. Participants in Stevig's afternoon workshop will have the opportunity to perform with him at his concert later that evening, as part of a student ensemble.
