"Moving At The Movies" will be a live performance showcasing works of dance performance featuring the music of local musicians and works of dance on camera. This will involve the local youth population inviting dancers and beginners alike ages 8-18 to work with myself as well as two additional artists in residence in creating this show. Not only will myself and the artists in residence choreograph and perform in the dance films but as well on stage. This event will be free and open to the public with a suggested donation. The live performance will consist of 3 short dance films created by the faculty/artists-in-residence, 1 dance film featuring the young performers, 2 dance performances by the youth performers, and a total of 3 live performances featuring the artists-in-residence which includes myself.
