In its fifth year, the 2017 SpinOff annual dance series, a 3-4 week long series that shines a spotlight on dance created in the Midwest. SpinOff features multiple Chicago-based dance-makers and 2 guest artists from other parts of the region. Rosy Simas Danse will be one of the featured guest artists and will be presented in the intimate Dance Studio at the Chicago Cultural Center which seats 70 audience members. Rosy Simas will also engage with our local student community via Columbia and Northwestern as well as lead workshops with our local native community in order to create the film footage needed for this project.
