The Clarice Smith Center will present the world premiere of “Times Bones,” which celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Margaret Jenkins Dance Company. Within the work, Jenkins looks back at the “bones” of her repertory, including her international collaborations with companies in China and India. MJDC will utilize a week-long production residency at the Center in preparation for the September 13, 2013 premiere and the subsequent “Times Bones” tour. MJDC dancers will also lead masterclasses with UMD dance students.
