Amazing Grace: An American Spiritual is a multimedia concert that traces the history of spirituals from Pre-Emancipation Folk Singing to the present day. A collaboration between the Sanford Performing Arts Center (SPAC), the Indigo Arts Alliance, the Handel and Haydn Society, and the Oratorio Chorale, this program will be presented via three channels. An in-person performance will take place at the Customs House Parking Garage; a video-performance will be filmed at SPAC for streaming; and partnerships with community organizers will provide additional educational opportunities.
