Common Fence Music will present artist Zili Misik. Kera Washington will teach three sessions of the CFM Connecting the Beats Drumming Program at the Boys and Girls Club of Newport, Rhode Island and will present interactive performances at the Portsmouth Middle School and at Camp Grosvenor Boys and Girls Club Summer Camp. The workshops and performances are a part of Common Fence Music's on-going outreach to underserved youth in Newport County. CFM has had wonderful success with Kera Washington in her past work with Newport County youth as she spreads knowledge and enthusiasm for the music of the African Diaspora.
