Common Fence Music will offer an eight week African drumming program for the Newport County Boys and Girls Club and a Block Party public performance led by NEST artist group Zili Misik. They have been performing New World Soul roots music of the African Diaspora since 2000. Zili Misik bridges cultures, generations, and continents with captivating sounds that retrace routes of forced exile and cultural resistance.
