Compagnie Marie Chouinard

A 30 minute piece for 11 dancers created by Marie Chouinard. Erik Satie’s iconic piece of music, is used as live music with the dancers playing the three compositions on the piano on stage. The continual movement is based around the theme of ‘duets’. One reviewer wrote: "The brilliant choreographer, Marie Chouinard, pushes the limits of her exceptional dancers in a highly original new work. She invites her dancers to the piano in this new work set to the music of Erik Satie. An invitation to savour multiple aspects of major talents."
