Leslie Parker is invited to CounterPulse December 3 through December 14, 2024 to deepen existing partnerships and research new ones in the San Francisco Bay Area during a site visit and research residency at CounterPulse. Leslie first visited CounterPulse to teach workshops at the 2023 CounterPulse Festival, and we’re now exploring bringing a work to present, LoverRoot, Imagining Home or Black Dance Improvisation Festival, perhaps in conjunction with other local venues/organizations.
