The Dance Hall

The Dance Hall will present two Ali Kenner Brodky & co’s films accompanied by an artist discussion on January 21, 2024. Both “to be near you.” and “between silences” are award winning films that have been screened both nationally and internationally. Brodsky, Choreographer & Director, worked with Rich Ferri, Director of Photography; Jarret Blinkhorn, Co-Director; and Composer MorganEve Swain to bring these films to life. In addition to the films and discussion, Brodsky will teach a workshop called, “Expressing Stories Through Movement & Film” open to all skill levels and geared toward those interested in movement and film as a means of expression. Free admission will be available to low-income community members.
