Dance Place

Dance Place will present Charles O. Anderson’s “(Re)current Unrest” through a digital sharing of the reimagined work. Following a live streamed premiere at UT Austin, Charles and collaborators will rework and edit footage to create a new film of the work, which Dance Place will premiere on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Local DC artists Quynn Johnson and Ryan Johnson will then share a post-show reflection of the work followed by a live Q&A session. The following week, Charles will engage with DC-area artists in a generative virtual workshop to produce digital content in response to “(Re)current Unrest” that will be shared on Dance Place’s social media to spur continued dialogue and engagement.
