Dance Place

Dance Place will host Nejla Yatkin for a performance residency 3/10-16/2025. Throughout this week, in addition to studio time for personal development, Nejla will have three rehearsals and one open dress rehearsal. Local community leaders and students will be invited to the open rehearsal. Nejla will build community through one engagement activity/master class. Dance Place’s Teen Leaders will hear the poem and analyze it’s meaning to them, and will be invited to attend the open rehearsal. At the performances, Dance Place will host a lobby activation to continue the public engagement.
