DANCECleveland will bring Hélène Simoneau Danse to Northeast Ohio for a short residency and public performance November 7-9, 2024. Residency activities will include two classes for high school students at Firestone Community Learning Center in Akron, Ohio, one class at Bard High School Early College in Cleveland, Ohio, a lecture-demonstration at Kenmore Community Center in Akron, and a public masterclass at Playhouse Square. The performance, taking place Saturday, November 9 at Playhouse Square’s Mimi Ohio Theatre, will include the works Delicate Power and Late Bloomer. Company artists will also participate in a "Behind the Curtain" video interview prior to their visit, a reception with subscribers and donors, a pre-show chat with audience members, and a Q&A session following the performance.
