The Hopkins Center will present two US premiere performances of wildly creative dance company Kidd Pivot’s "Tempest Replica" amidst a residency building dance audiences through Shakespeare read-ins, a scholar talk, post-performance discussions, commissioned program notes, and a movement workshop. Collaborating partners will include local libraries and theater companies, a Shakespeare scholar, and a focus on introducing newcomers to contemporary dance.
