Egleston Square Main Street

Denise Delgado's Bodega Signs and Wonders project consists of community writing workshops and dinner conversations in collaboration with neighbors in Egleston Square that will generate community stories, song lyrics, and neighborhood history. Denise along with Dominican poet Frank Baez will write/assemble them as poems and micro-fictions in English and Spanish for a series of text-based public art works in the aesthetics and vernacular of bodega signs, produced by a neighborhood sign maker and installed throughout Egleston Square.

Egleston Square Main Street has been nominated by Denise Delgado for this Community Partner award for their ongoing support of Bodega Signs and Wonders.
