This request is to fund performer stipends for the presentation of Lost and Found, a dance fashion show celebrating thrift, self-expression, and personal history in the spring of 2025. The presentation of this work will be in collaboration with Human Movement Project, who are looking to bring high quality dance and performance pieces to the Hyde Park neighborhood in unexpected venues.

Lost and Found is a layered (literally and figuratively), interdisciplinary evening length performance I have been working on for a year now in collaboration with local secondhand stylist, Mary O’Keefe. Alongside our dancers, we have spent the past year researching how clothing holds memories, lineages, scars, and questions in our lives. The resulting work is a joyous, tender, and at times introspective show that is aesthetically delightful, human to the core, and celebrates the performers, their stories, and what makes them unique.
