Embodiment Project

NEFA’s NDP Production Residencies for Dance grant will fund Embodiment Project’s (EP’s) 7 day technical residency at National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron (NCCAkron) from March 21-29, 2020. This residency will serve to refine EP’s new dance work X Rated Planet: the epigenetics of femicide in its later stages of development in order to produce a more fully realized and ready to tour version of the production. EP’s Artistic Director Nicole Klaymoon will collaborate with NCCAkron Executive Director Christy Bolingbroke and her technical staff to create a tech riders for a full length theater version as well as a 40 minute festival version of X Rated Planet.
