The Field Center will present imaginary island's interactive performance of "YOU ARE GOING TO BE HEALED" in August 2025 as part of our Summer Contact Improvisation Festival. "YOU ARE GOING TO BE HEALED," an interactive dance performance wherein two real-life healers and professional dance artists (Kristen Stake and Hannah Wasielsewski) conjure the ancestors, repurpose objects and unrealistic expectations, pull from marrow, dreams, and afterlife to HEAL themselves and the audience. This work guides the audience through a "healing ceremony" via an outdoor performance installation to deconstruct healer burnout and foster collective transformation.
